Bob (Roberta) Stalin is arguably one of the art world's finest appropriators. Her work has in recent times focused upon deconstructing the work of the Andalusian artist and rationaliser, Bob Kenyon. As several of the pieces here suggest, she has skillfully manipulated Kenyon's images and re-presented them as her own great works of art in their own right.

Ms Stalin lives and works in the barrios of Mexico City and shops in the fashionable boutiques of the world's great cities. She is currently preparing a major exhibition for the Elvis-Picasso Gallery in the fall. This will take the form a comic-book representation of her very own acclaimed biography of the Andalusian artist, Bob Kenyon.
