Pis Gnome #5

Much serious research has been carried out by Dr Emen Murphy, Curator at the Elvis-Picasso Gallery, to gather this archive of posters.

It is believed that they were originally fly-posted over the streets of West London, England, according to witnesses by some disgruntled and much abused research student whose thesis titled, 'Money or the Truth at the University of the Customer', was rejected as it contained surreal accusations and preposterous allegations about the philistines and fanatics who had allegedly taken over the institution in a coup.

Many of the full complement of posters have been destroyed by some philistines and fanatics, it is believed, so it is a great achievement of Dr Murphy's to have preserved at least these significant works. The identities of those portrayed, which research confirms, bear no resemblance to any 'living' person, and the artist and designer of the works, have never been determined it is alleged. Serious research funded at the expense of meaningless tertiary education continues.
