Elvis-Picasso Produces the First Successful Test Results from the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.

The HVBS at CERN is pleased to announce that Dr Elvis-Picasso's experiments to test the Large Hadron Colider have provided some interesting results - see the resulting detector plate (left). Prof Elvis-Picasso took time off from decorating the LHC walls with his great mural to test the super-conducting magnetic array of the LHC.

He fired many shots from his .48 Smith and Wesson Special revolver (yes, the very one previously owned by the late actor Humphrey Bogart) into the LHC tunnel and watched as the bullets sped with great acceleration around the 27 kilometer tunnel to then collide with a concrete wall detector located just behind Dr Elvis-Picasso's head.

The resulting pattern (see the resulting plate from the detector - left) of the impacts proved that the magnets were working and that Dott Elvis-Picasso's attempt to find the elusive 'Meaninglessness-itron", better known as the 'Zero-Vector Boson Particle', is progressing chaotically.

Elvis-Picasso's Goat, 'Art', joins White House Staff.

It was announced by Bob Gibbse, the White House Press Secretary, that the President B'Iraq Obama is most delighted to accept this wonderful gift from Elvis-Picasso of his pet goat and mascot, 'Art' (pictured above on the commemorative postcard from the Elvis-Picasso Gallery). The President believes that 'Art' will make a significant ecological contribution to the White House policy and, at the same time inspire the Administration to "greater, greener efforts and to world gardens".

It was reported in the Sunday Sport (Sunday March 1, 2009) that Elvis-Picasso, on his completion of the mural for the Large Hadron Collider Tunnel at CERN (see Report: to be filed), that he would meet with the President to discuss goats and world surrealist movements.

Dr Enem Murphy invited to the White House.

Dr Enem Murphy, Curator of Very Post-Modern Arte at the Elvis-Picasso Gallery (see portrait left - by Elvis-Picasso, 2009), presented 'Art', Elvis-Picasso's pet goat, to President B'Iraq Obama and his family at the White House reception in Washington yesterday.

Dr Enem Murphy, Curator of Very Post-Moderne Arte at the Elvis-Picasso Gallery (see portrait above - by Elvis-Picasso, 2009), has been invited to visit President B'Iraq Obama and his family at the White House in Washington to discuss the forthcoming presentation of works of art by the celebrated artist, Elvis-Picasso.

As reported in the popular press (see 'El Telegrafico', 29 February 2009) President Obama and his wife, Mrs M'shell Obama have expressed a desire to furnish the new 'West Wing' of the White House entirely with great artworks works by their favourite artist, Elvis-Picasso.

It is expected that Dr Murphy will provide a slideshow of the complete catalogue of the works by the master, from which they, and their little children too, can choose.

Pope Ratzinger gets into a frizzle about a BIG sinner.

It is not known if Elvis-Picasso himself took this picture, but he does claim it as his own, as usual. Lovely size and delighted expression of Pope Ratz, the XVI no less.

According to one reliable source within the Vatican, Pope Benny, as he is sometimes called, was actually describing the size of a sin he had recently heard in the confessional. He has only heard one confession in the last year, that of the pervert Tony Blair (...or was that 'convert'? Hmm!...).

The Director of the Elvis-Picasso Gallery, Madam Mary Ether, has invited His Imminence to open the new gallery restaurant and hopes that he will to speak on his favourite topic, 'The Washing Machine: The Cause and Cure of Women's Liberation'. We at the gallery suspect that if he eats any of the 'vegan poison' dished up by the Head of Catering at the Elvis-Picasso Restaurant, Ms M M Mandy, he may well have to say his prayers!!

Elvis-Picasso breaks show record for specialist subjects but only just wins this year's 'e-BBC: e-MASTERMIND: e-Final: 2009'.

Elvis-Picasso's specialist topic, "Meaninglessness", produced a perfect score for the maestro and due to the enthusiasm of the 'Quizmaster', Dr Paisley, he was able to answer more questions than have ever been asked before on 'i-MASTERMIND', an amazing total of forty questions in just two minutes.

Although, Elvis-Picasso was unable to answer any of the 'General Knowledge' questions as, according to him, they were all totally meaningless, he still won the contest by thirteen points!
